Our guests this week are with the University of South Florida’s College of MedicineDr. Kathi Armstrong, Professor of Pediatrics and Dr. Carolyn Adams, (Dr. Carrie) the Director of Helping Our Toddlers, Developing Our Children’s Skills (HOT DOCS) and Docs for Success Programs at the University of South Florida.

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an empirically-supported treatment for young children with emotional and behavioral disorders that places emphasis on improving the quality of the parent-child relationship and changing parent-child interaction patterns.

The HOT DOCS/DOCS for Success Programs offer caregivers a problem-solving approach towards understanding children’s needs and solving everyday behavior problems.
