The Graham has 80 residents. Gracepoint privately funded the project, the first affordable housing units Gracepoint built from the ground-up using low income housing tax credits and a loan from the state of Florida.

This week’s show will feature Nicole Johnson, DrPH, MPH, MA a former
Miss America and the Executive Director of Bringing Science Home at the
University of South Florida. The project investigates the connection between chronic disease, family dynamics, and optimistic living.

Nicole was with her service dog Lucy. She is trained to monitor Nicole’s
blood sugar levels. Lucy will alert Nicole if there is a problem.
